Description
Two piece lady's peach dress. Silk taffeta, chiffon. A - Bodice, short, front opening, scoop neck, edged in apricot ruffle which continues down to waist. Short puffed sleeves with band part way, ending in chiffon ruffle. Fullness ruching at the breast. Two long sashes attached to bodice back. Whale bone stays within bodice. B - Skirt with train, back opening. Skirt lined with cotton sateen, lower inner hem has one ruffle at front and two layers of ruffles on the train at the back. Circa 1860s.
